Our parish follows the guidelines of the Archdiocese of St. Louis requiring attendance at religious education classes for a full year before receiving sacraments.
First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion
Typically, First Penance (Confession or Reconcilliation) and First Holy Communion are prepared for and received in 2nd grade.
Confirmation
Typically is prepared for and received in the 8th grade.
Parents of children receiving sacrament need to attend special meetings regarding preparation for these Sacraments: dates and times are noted on the PSR Calendar and reminders are sent out through the USPS mail.
