Spiritual Events

The 3rd annual Catholic Women for Christ Conference of St. Louis.  It is on Saturday, March 31st, at the America's Center, 701 Convention Plaza in Downtown St. Louis.  The theme is: "Mary, Mother of Mercy, Mother of Peace" and will focus on giving and receiving forgiveness, mercy and peace for individuals and for the world, especially through the intercession of Mary.

Included are spiritual talks, spiritual direction, eucharistic adoration, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Stations of the Cross, healing prayer, music, service activities, and more.  For more information.  It looks like a very good event.  Cost is $40 on or before March 17 and $45 afterward.

Outstanding Adult Religious Education Program
Uncover the riches of our Catholic tradition though Catholicism, a 10-part documentary series that the Archdiocese of St. Louis is promoting as an "outstanding adult religious education program!" Fr. Robert Barron created this groundbreaking program (through Word on Fire) as a thematic presentation of what Catholics believe and why, so all adults can come to a deeper understanding of the Catholic Faith.  Not a video lecture, Church history or scripture study, this engaging and interesting formational program uses the art, architecture, literature, music and all the treasures of the Catholic tradition to illuminate the timeless teachings of the Church.  If you're interested in joining on this journey, contact Myco Wulkopf at 314.647.5611 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Life in the Spirit Seminars
Who should attend? Anyone that wants to deepen their relationship with God the Father, God the Son and especially God the Holy Spirit. This is a great "next step" for those who have attended a Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) or ACTS retreat at the parish level. Or, if you would simply like a change from bible study or want to interact with other Catholics at a more regional gathering, this would be a good option.  To Register click here or call 314-427-7786 or en espanol, 314-522-3516.

The visit of the “International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima” to St. Michael’s was a beautiful day, filled with prayer, devotion, and song.  Carl Marlburg, the Custodian of the Statue came to speak at the opening of the visit.  The rosary was prayed on even hours with the noon rosary prayed for the intentions of Clare Blase.  Below are some pictures of the statue from that day.
