Home and School Association |

The St. Michael’s Home and School Association supports the school mission to help build the kingdom of God by building a spiritual community that reflects Christ’s love. We do this by providing financial support for special projects not included in the school budget. Fundraising is the primary means of providing financial support. Each year H&S holds several fundraising events such as Entertainment book sales, Sally foster Gift Sales, a Magazine drive and several events which encourage community involvement such as a Summer BBQ and a Halloween Trunk or Treat event. Besides fund raising, we support other events which help bring the community together. These include an annual fish fry and Santa’s secret workshop. H&S encourages parent participation as each event requires many volunteers for success. Meetings are held approximately once a month with the first H&S meeting in September being the kickoff for a major fundraiser as well as bingo sign-up for the year. Some of the special projects H&S supports include Hearing and Vision screenings, fourth grade Art Museum trip, 8th grade graduation and Care Team for the teachers. Care Team is an opportunity for the teachers to get instruction in teaching children with special learning needs.
