Athletic Association
St. Michael’s Athletic Association has been serving the St. Michael Parish and Shrewsbury community for over 50 years in conjunction with the St. Louis Catholic Youth Council (CYC) to teach the fundamentals of soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball and t-ball. Team sports can help participants develop an understanding of God’s continuing love for them and their value as an individual. Through our teams we try to cultivate a spirit of trust and concern for others. As a team we encourage cooperation and team spirit and empower youth and young adults to become active in the Church and the community. Our approach is based on respect–respect for self, respect for learning, and respect for each other. Many life-long friendships have begun on our playing fields!
